Communicating with Ophthalmologists
Using DiNet, ophthalmologists can easily send high-definition fundus images — either digital images or traditional hand-drawn images—to a specialist for further treatment of a patient, or simply for consultation. In cases where an extremely accurate retina evaluation is required, DiNet can also be used to receive Spectral Domain-Optical Coherence Tomography (SD-OCT) from an ophthalmology service center. This immediate availability of high-definition images greatly minimizes the turnaround time for evaluation and decision-making, enabling you to provide better care for your patients. DiNet also maintains records of communication threads concerning a patient’s treatment.
You can easily launch DiNet from within your practice management system by selecting the Print function. You can then collate images into a single Ophthalmological Image Set, add file attachments if desired, and send to another DiNet user for immediate review.
Communicating with Payers
DiNet lets you easily send Ophthalmological Image Sets — one or more ocular images — to payers for pre-authorization or claims payments. Working from within your practice management system, you can simply use the Print function to launch DiNet. You can then use DiNet to submit patient data, claim forms, and the associated fundus images and/or SD-OCT images securely and directly to the Payer.
